Last week, Community Works joined hundreds of other organizers to attend the 2024 Alliance for Boys and Men of Color Policy Summit.
It was an incredible few days spent connecting, healing, and building towards a future where our policies reflect the needs of our communities.

One Family supports currently incarcerated parents in maintaining and strengthening family bonds with their children through contact visitation, therapy, and parenting education.
We facilitate special virtual visits where parents can “see” their children on their birthdays, some holidays, or other meaningful days.

Women Rising is a restorative reentry program that offers gender responsive case management, resources, experiences, and groups for formerly incarcerated transitional aged youth (TAY).
The program also includes Rising Voices, an arts-based theater component that allows clients to express themselves for further healing and self-reflection.
