Case Manager, Survivor Empowerment Program

Why do you do what you do?

I enjoy learning how I may be of service to my fellow humans. Growing up in San Francisco I would accompany my mother to community organizations. I was able to witness workers assist my mother with such dignity, respect, and kindness. I aim to practice those qualities with our clients. I am excited to celebrate all the big and small achievements with our teammates and learn more about our programming.

As a Case Manager I aim to be a part of a support system for our fellow community members. I am grateful to be able to build bridges in the community and that I am also able to help our clients navigate these. I believe that creating a partnership with clients is key in assuring the advancement of their personal goals.

When I’m not at CW, I enjoy exploring new parks, swimming at the nearby rec and park, and visiting the library with my daughter. Currently, we are interested in astronomy and in particular black holes and constellations. You can catch me on my block walking with my Sandy dog checking out the scene.
