Deeanna Jurand

I do this work because I believe in the power of strong family connections and community support to positively impact children’s lives. Coming from a background in education, I have a deep passion for working with children and supporting families through compassionate, community-based services. I am especially committed to supporting children by creating spaces where they feel safe, seen, and connected to their parents.

As a Child Parent Liaison I work closely with incarcerated parents, children, caregivers, and facility staff to ensure visits are safe, supportive, and centered on the emotional well-being of the child. My role focuses on fostering positive parent-child interactions, strengthening communication, and supporting families in maintaining meaningful relationships during separation.
