I’m here to fight systems that were designed to stigmatize, separate, isolate, and harm so many of us. Working at CW means I’m not alone in that fight because I’m alongside colleagues who are passionate about building a world that heals and connects us instead.
As co-executive director, I’m responsible for creating environments for our people, programs, and systems change efforts to thrive. I work directly with most folks in the CW community whether they’re participants, partners, supporters, or even skeptics. Before coming to CW, I started my career as a journalist covering electoral politics locally and federally, but quickly transitioned to work in the Capitol for a state legislator, only to then pivot toward youth development, service delivery, and legislative/regulatory advocacy for several non-profits.
When I’m not at CW, you might find me playing basketball, reading, writing, laughing, snacking, and napping (often in that order).
