Program Manager, One Family

Why do you do what you do?

I do what I do because I am deeply committed to fostering a more compassionate and rehabilitative approach to our carceral system. I believe wholeheartedly in shifting the spotlight away from punitive measures towards building strong, safe, and healthy communities by redirecting resources where they matter most, I strive to empower individuals to heal, succeed, and thrive beyond the constraints of the justice system.

As Program Manager I am responsible for supporting a team who is dedicated to helping incarcerated mothers and fathers. I work closely with families to ensure they receive the comprehensive support they need to fulfill their roles as parents, both during their time in custody and after release. Our program creates a safe space for children and their parents to visit and work on the parent child relationship while in custody. I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of the parents I work with, empowering them to navigate the complexities of parenthood with resilience, knowledge, and support.

When I’m not at CW, you’ll often find me dancing, spending quality time with my family, traveling, or attending live concerts.
