Spreading the Word: A Community Works Town Hall Event

In June 2025, Community Works recently hosted its first in-person town hall event, “Leading with Humanity,” marking the first of a series of events planned for the next 12 months. The town hall discussion focused on the diverse effects of maintaining family connections when a parent is incarcerated.

The event featured a panel that included Rosy Corado-Biggs, Dedrick Daniels, Brendi Velasquez, Jakaela Foster, and Emani Davis, with Katie Kramer serving as the moderator.
